I love building.  Working with my hands and creating beautiful, useful structures for people to enjoy is more than just my profession, it’s my passion.  I first started in construction in 2006 as a volunteer rebuilding homes with ministries and AmeriCorps in Mississippi after hurricane Katrina.  I then joined the Air Force as a carpenter and metal worker where I became a journeyman carpenter while apprenticing under old time wood joiners in England.  I left the Air Force in 2014 to pursue a bachelors in math education at the University of Michigan.  While in school, I earned my Michigan’s builder’s license and started my company.  Upon graduating in 2018, I decided to pursue building full-time, and I got the opportunity of a lifetime to become a National Guard helicopter pilot.  I completed flight school in 2022, and now I’m a full-time builder in addition to being a National Guard soldier.  

I’m always looking to improve my trade and actively seek the best methods, both new and old!
